We had a great visit with our daughter in Salt Lake City, Utah for Christmas. She flew in from Milwaukee and we had 4 days together. After she left we headed back to Las Vegas for a couple of day.

We arrived here last week. Benson, Arizona is between Tucson and Tomestone. We haven't had a lot of time to site see since we've both been down with colds. Sandy got hers first and then was kind enough to pass it along to me. We'll stay here for another week and then it's on to Texas. Go Ravens!!!

We have a great time visiting with Kelly and her boyfriend,Dave, while in Las Vegas. We hated to say good-bye to her, but we'll see her again for Christmas in Salt Lake City.

We drove back to Congress, Arizona and stayed there until earlier this week when we hit the road for California. We stayed 2 nights in a small town, Needles California, just over the Arizona border. We're now in Las Vegas again until this Thursday when we take off for Salt Lake City. The weather in Las Vegas is getting colder. Tonight it's going to be near freezing.

I missed the annual hunting trip this year for first time. It's an opportunity I look forward to each year and hang out with my youngest brother, Fran. Hopefully I'll make up for it next year after we settle in Wisconsin.

Sorry for not posting as regularly as I should. We arrived in Vegas yesterday afternoon. Our daughter, Kelly, and her boyfriend, Dave arrive tomorrow morning (Thanksgiving). We are really looking forward to seeing them for a few days.

Prior to our coming to Las Vegas we stayed a week in Congress, Arizona at the Escapees park, North Ranch. It was very nice and we met a nice couple who also left for Vegas the same day. We plan to stay in touch. They are fulltime Rv'ers and have been for almost 7 years. I think I could do this full time, but not so sure about Sandy. She struggles with having to give up her "stuff" now held in storage. As for me, as long as I have my flyfishing stuff and can have my brother hold my hunting things, I'm good to go.

We stayed several days in Albuquerque. We drove to Holbrook, Arizona yesterday. Today we visited the Petrified Forest National Park and the Painted Desert. Beautiful scenery. Weather was in the lower 60's and 30's at night. Tomorrow we head toward the Grand Canyon. It looks like the temp will be dropping a few degrees so we bought some insulation material for the windows.
